  •  Polyurea is a liquid or spray coating that is used successfully for waterproofing flat roofs, basements, parking garages, flooring and reservoirs/tanks linings (even ok for drinking water tanks). Polyurea forms a seamless monolithic waterproof coating over surfaces that not only protects against leaks, rust, erosion, and will also stretch and shrink during climate change.  Need more information about Waterproofing- Click Here!
  • Poured concrete walls will leak along the floor/wall joint because it is the weakest point. Even seepage through the walls can occur as the water pressure from outside the foundation builds up (why gutters and downspouts are important).
  • Concrete block walls will commonly leak along the floor/wall joint and between the mortar joints between the concrete blocks if the outside water pressure is high enough. Also, the hollow cores in concrete block can fill with water which will cause leaking for some time after all has dried up outside. Water is a very formidable force of nature and hard to hold back when there are cracks to flow into and beyond.
  • Clay tile walls found on historic dwellings will mostly leak at the floor/wall joint and the joints between clay tiles are also common places to leak. Clay tiles also have hollow cores that can form a reservoir of water to continually leak into the basement.
  • Polyurea coatings are sprayed onto the walls and joints of the damp basement till the coating is about as thick as a dime to create the protective barrier.  Preparations before spraying take longer than the application. 
  • All will be done to provide a budget friendly solution to waterproof your basement. We will not advise expensive solutions when less costly ones are suitable.
