The Historic and Vibrant Concourse Neighborhood in Broo

The Concourse Neighborhood of Bronx is a vibrant area of New York with many amenities and attractions that make it a beloved section of the Bronx. The Yankee Stadium features baseball games from one of the most popular teams in the nation, the many parks bring nature into the borough, and the Bronx Children's Museum brings delight, entertainment and learning opportunities to families.

The Concourse Neighborhood is named after the Grand Concourse, an 11-lane wide highway that has been famous since its construction. While the area has fallen on hard times in the last decades, it is enjoying a fresh era of revitalization. For those who have always believed in the area's potential, and those who are just now discovering it, there are so many places to recommend it to visitors and residents.

One of the most recognizable features in Bronx is the famous Yankee Stadium! Baseball Games always brings a lot of excitement to New Yorkers. So many of baseball's greats have played here - it has long been considered the most iconic baseball stadium in the USA, and it is right here in the Concourse Neighborhood. It is not only the site of baseball games, but also performances, boxing matches, and more.

Concourse Neighborhood is well known for it's many large buildings constructed during the 1920's that have been divided into apartments or co-ops of 1 bedroom units to unusually large 4 bedroom units. The area is home to some of the most affordable rentals and co-ops available within NYC.

The Joyce Kilmer and Rev T Wendell Foster Parks offer public recreation opportunities and green spaces for residents. With a variety of sports facilities, these parks cater to active families, and residents looking to increase their time outdoors. From splash pads and wading pools to the regal Lorelei fountain, from the bike park to picnic benches, these green spaces have a little something for everyone.

For art lovers and appreciators, the Bronx Museum of the Arts is a place to discover contemporary art. The museum hosts many programs that make the experience interactive for people of all ages, welcoming perspectives and exhibit ideas from teens, uplifting artists from underrepresented groups, and hosting workshops and educational events.

For music lovers, the Hip Hop Museum celebrates artists that made their mark on the music scene and helped to define a genre. It is a must-visit for both those who already love hip-hop and those who are looking for an introduction to the genre.

The Concourse is a special place that has made history many times over the years - from its historic construction, to being the home of the oldest bridge in NYC, to being the site of the famous Joker stairs scene. It has much to offer anyone who lives, works, or visits the area. Skyward Roofing provides free estimates and service to businesses and residential homes all over the neighborhood, and throughout the Bronx, NY.
